We are two working mothers who share a love of animals as well as a desire to create something with a difference - hence Buttonbow! Inspiration for our art is gained from the pets of our families and friends as well as animals that live on the farms near our homes in beautiful Shropshire. We hope we can pass on in our art the personality and character of the creatures we have met.

We like many people are concerned about the environment. So, using eco products for paint and packaging together with locally sourced wood enables us to do what we can for the world around us. From ash and oak to alder and pine the woods used in our art are kiln dried and found in the surrounding countryside.

Each piece is designed by us and then carefully cut by hand, sanded then oiled or painted. Finally it is completed with a bow to show of it's charm to the best effect. Our art is immensely decorative, easy to live with and can be displayed in all areas of the home from the kitchen to the bedroom.
